Who we are

Besides being the largest consumer, Brazil is also the world's largest coffee producer and exporter. Santo Aleixo Group produces exclusive and selected coffees, with the high quality characteristic of Minas Gerais cerrado. Our goal is to bring a special coffee, which is sustainably produced, to the brazilians’ table, besides becoming a reference abroad.

 

We produce sustainable and environmentally certified coffee by the Rainforest Alliance.

 

Our production is based on social responsibility and on the appreciation of employees and the environment, being attentive to legislation regarding the use of inputs, the preservation of water resources and local biodiversity to produce grains of the best quality .

Our history

Our first farm was acquired in 2012. We are always looking for innovation and higher quality to bring our history and the identity of the coffee produced in Minas Gerais cerrado to the world.

About the Farms

We are a network of farms specialized in producing a very high quality coffee. The farms Santo Aleixo, Santa Lucia, Liberdade and Santa Fé, are all located in the Cerrado region of Minas Gerais state, with altitudes between 890 and 950m.

 We are part of the delimited area of Minas Gerais cerrado denomination of origin with seal of origin and quality.

From the unique combination of climate, soil, terrain, altitude and trained employees of the region, our special coffees are createtd.

The main varieties which Santo Aleixo Group work with are topázio, acaia, cerrado, catuai, araras, mundo novo and bourbon. They are chocolate, caramel and walnut flavored coffees. The result is a mild body product, with medium acidity and sweetness. We work with the standards of pulped cherry beans coffee, washed and natural, as well as specific coffees, created according to the needs of our customers.

 

 

We produce between 55 and 90,000 sacks each harvest, from May to September.
